Air Quality Authority AreasSource

Air quality in most areas of Washington State is protected by local clean air agencies. Tribes protect and have authority over their tribal lands. Areas are based on county boundaries except for tribes where the boundary is the reservation. Ecology's regional offices have authority in all other areas

CDC Social Vulnerability Index 2018 - USASource

This feature layer visualizes the 2018 overall SVI for U.S. counties and tractsSocial Vulnerability Index (SVI) indicates the relative vulnerability of every U.S. county and tract15 social factors grouped into four major themesIndex value calculated for each county for the 15 social factors, four major themes, and the overall rankWhat is CDC Social Vulnerability Index?ATSDR’s Geospatial Research, Analysis & Services Program (GRASP) has created a tool to help emergency response planners and public health officials identify and map the communities that will most likely need support before, during, and after a hazardous event. The Social Vulnerability Index (SVI) uses U.S. Census data to determine the social vulnerability of every county and tract. CDC SVI ranks each county and tract on 15 social factors, including poverty, lack of vehicle access, and crowded housing, and groups them into four related themes:SocioeconomicHousing Composition and DisabilityMinority Status and LanguageHousing and Transportation VariablesFor a detailed description of variable uses, please refer to the full SVI 2018 documentation.RankingsWe ranked counties and tracts for the entire United States against one another.  This feature layer can be used for mapping and analysis of relative vulnerability of counties in multiple states, or across the U.S. as a whole. Rankings are based on percentiles. Percentile ranking values range from 0 to 1, with higher values indicating greater vulnerability. For each county and tract, we generated its percentile rank among all counties and tracts for 1) the fifteen individual variables, 2) the four themes, and 3) its overall position. Overall Rankings:We totaled the sums for each theme, ordered the counties, and then calculated overall percentile rankings. Please note:  taking the sum of the sums for each theme is the same as summing individual variable rankings. The overall tract summary ranking variable is RPL_THEMES. Theme rankings:For each of the four themes, we summed the percentiles for the variables comprising each theme. We ordered the summed percentiles for each theme to determine theme-specific percentile rankings. The four summary theme ranking variables are: Socioeconomic theme - RPL_THEME1Housing Composition and Disability - RPL_THEME2Minority Status & Language - RPL_THEME3Housing & Transportation - RPL_THEME4FlagsCounties in the top 10%, i.e., at the 90th percentile of values, are given a value of 1 to indicate high vulnerability.  Counties below the 90th percentile are given a value of 0.  For a theme, the flag value is the number of flags for variables comprising the theme. We calculated the overall flag value for each county as the total number of all variable flags. SVI Informational VideosIntroduction to CDC Social Vulnerability Index (SVI)Methods for CDC Social Vulnerability Index (SVI)More Questions?CDC SVI 2018 Full DocumentationSVI Home PageContact the SVI Coordinator

Current ParcelsSource

The Washington State Parcels Project provides a statewide data set of tax parcels attributes that cover those counties that currently have digital tax parcels. Attribute data has been normalized so that the field names are the same across all counties. The data set contains the tax parcel identification number, situs addresses, the Department of Revenue land use codes, improvement and land values, and a link to the county's assessor's website for parcel information (if it exists).

DETAILS OF FIRE STATION TURNOUTS IN 2016Source

The Fire Services Act, 1981 sets out the rules and regulations for that the fire service works to. The NDFEM provides support to the Local Authorities to make sure these rules and regulations are put in place and that health and safety is prioritised. We provide funding to the fire service for the purchase of appliances and equipment. We also support the fire service by running a national training programme and by publishing guidance on relevant matters and by setting general policy. There have been some changes to data collected, as follows; Arva (P) gone from Cavan 2011. 3 Offaly Stations gone 2011. Daingean * gone from 2011. Kilcormac * gone from 2011. Natural Amenities ScaleSource

The natural amenities scale is a measure of the physical characteristics of a county area that enhance the location as a place to live. The scale was constructed by combining six measures of climate, topography, and water area that reflect environmental qualities most people prefer. These measures are warm winter, winter sun, temperate summer, low summer humidity, topographic variation, and water area. The data are available for counties in the lower 48 States. The file contains the original measures and standardized scores for each county as well as the amenities scale.

New Mexico County Boundary 2018Source

The TIGER/Line shapefiles and related database files (.dbf) are an extract of selected geographic and cartographic information from the U.S. Census Bureau's Master Address File / Topologically Integrated Geographic Encoding and Referencing (MAF/TIGER) Database (MTDB). The MTDB represents a seamless national file with no overlaps or gaps between parts, however, each TIGER/Line shapefile is designed to stand alone as an independent data set, or they can be combined to cover the entire nation. The primary legal divisions of most states are termed counties. In Louisiana, these divisions are known as parishes. In Alaska, which has no counties, the equivalent entities are the organized boroughs, city and boroughs, municipalities, and for the unorganized area, census areas. The latter are delineated cooperatively for statistical purposes by the State of Alaska and the Census Bureau. In four states (Maryland, Missouri, Nevada, and Virginia), there are one or more incorporated places that are independent of any county organization and thus constitute primary divisions of their states. These incorporated places are known as independent cities and are treated as equivalent entities for purposes of data presentation. The District of Columbia and Guam have no primary divisions, and each area is considered an equivalent entity for purposes of data presentation. The Census Bureau treats the following entities as equivalents of counties for purposes of data presentation: Municipios in Puerto Rico, Districts and Islands in American Samoa, Municipalities in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, and Islands in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The entire area of the United States, Puerto Rico, and the Island Areas is covered by counties or equivalent entities. The boundaries for counties and equivalent entities are as of January 1, 2018, primarily as reported through the Census Bureau's Boundary and Annexation Survey (BAS).

WA Major Public Lands (non-DNR)Source

The NDMPL (Washington State Non-Department of Natural Resources Major Public Lands) data contains ownership parcels for Federal, State (excluding WA DNR), County and City lands within the State of Washington. It also includes Tribal administrative boundaries. The NDMPL data layer is a polygon dataset and does not contain arc attribute information for ownership boundaries. This data is not connected to WA DNR's Cadastre layers (these data include WADNR ownership, Public Land Survey System and other cadastral data). As updates are made to Cadastre layers, they may not be reflected in NDMPL.WA Major Public Lands MetadataClick to downloadThis layer has updated October 2021.
