ARMS data are essential to USDA, congressional, administration, and industry decision makers when weighing alternative policies and programs that touch the farm sector or affect farm families. The ERS content and data APIs (including our pre-made widgets for embedding charts) are currently out of service while we redesign our site. This interactive tool aims to help users in their implementation of the reporting requirements laid down in the Disclosures Delegated Act (Delegated Regulation (EU) 2021/2178) under Article 8 of the EU Taxonomy Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2020/852). The EU Taxonomy Compass provides a visual representation of the contents of the EU Taxonomy. It aims to make the contents of the EU Taxonomy easier to access for a variety of users. The directory helps financial sector stakeholders identify important and relevant climate-related data sources to meet their needs and facilitate access to these data. It also facilitates the identification of potential data gaps (where raw data items needed to construct a metric are not available) and creates incentives to bridge such gaps. As a living catalogue of available climate-related data sources for financial sector stakeholders, the directory is a public good. Besides, in fostering the establishment of comparable and consistent climate data, the directory can support the implementation of the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) global standards. Hence, the NGFS hopes it will be used widely by financial sector stakeholders and the public globally, as a widespread adoption will in turn allow users to feedback to NGFS on the latest data sources and sustain the relevance of the directory. They urge all interested participants to take advantage of this new tool and leverage it to effectively green the financial system.

The SBTi’s target list contains companies and financial institutions that have set science-based targets, or have committed to developing targets. Updated every Thursday, the dataset includes high-level information about each organization’s targets or commitments.

The Temperature Alignment tool was created to enable the widespread implementation of the method by data providers and financial institutions, to work with any data source and in most IT environments. For each method, the tool provides the following outputs: I. Portfolio coverage: generate the % of the portfolio currently covered by SBTi-approved targets. Ii. Temperature scoring: generate the current temperature score of the portfolio (in addition to the individual temperature scores of the portfolio companies). It also enables the generation of a series of what-if scenarios to showcase how this temperature score could be reduced.

The banking sector has a critical role to play in the low-carbon transition, incentivising emissions reductions in the real economy through climate-aware financing. The TPI Centre in partnership with the Institutional Investor Group on Climate Change (IIGCC), developed an investor-led pilot framework of indicators to assess the preparedness of banks for the low-carbon transition. Our framework sets an action-focused roadmap for banks to align their financing activities with the goals of the Paris Agreement. In summer 2022, the TPI Centre published a report describing our methodology and pilot analysis of 27 banks. Licensing is not definitive but the narrative implies the data is open.
