EGS Collab Testbed 1- Common Discrete Fracture NetworkSource

This package includes data and models that support hydraulic fracture stimulation and fluid circulation experiments in the Sanford Underground Research Facility (SURF). A paper by Schwering et al. (2020) describes the deterministic basis for developing a "common" discrete fracture network (CDFN) model of significant natural fractures in EGS Collab Testbed 1 on the 4850-Level of SURF. The ReadMe for this model shows drift, wells, scanlines, fracture data, interpreted fractures, and geophysical visualizations. There is also a summary of the data that was used in this experiment and includes results from reviewing core, televiewer (TV) logs, core-TV depth/feature registration, and from mapping weeps in the 4850-Level drift. The CDFN is intended to be a baseline model of the pre-stimulated testbed (though some observations from stimulation helped inform the model).

Monthly precipitation data from a network of standard gauges at the Jornada Experimental Range (Jornada Basin LTER) in southern New Mexico, January 1916 - ongoing

This ongoing dataset contains monthly precipitation measurements from a network of standard can rain gauges at the Jornada Experimental Range in Dona Ana County, New Mexico, USA. Precipitation physically collects within gauges during the month and is manually measured with a graduated cylinder at the end of each month. This network is maintained by USDA Agricultural Research Service personnel. This dataset includes 39 different locations but only 29 of them are current. Other precipitation data exist for this area, including event-based tipping bucket data with timestamps, but do not go as far back in time as this dataset.

Seismic Analysis of Spatio-Temporal Fracture Generation During EGS Resource Development - Deviatoric MT, Fracture Network, and Final ReportSource

This submission contains 167 deviatoric moment tensor (MT) solutions for the seismicity observed two years prior and three years post start of injection activities at The Geysers Prati 32 EGS Demonstration. Also included is a statistical representation of the properties of 751 fractures derived from the analysis of seismicity observed two years prior and three years post start of injection activities at The Geysers Prati 32 EGS Demonstration Project. The locations of the fractures are taken from microseismic hypocenters, the fracture areas are derived from moment magnitudes via scaling relationships, and the azimuths (sigma 1) and dips (sigma 3) are derived from the results of stress analyses.

Sub-Saharan Africa - Electricity Transmission NetworkSource

This dataset is now superseded by the updated Africa Electricity Transmission and Distribution Grid Map (2017). Please use that if looking for the most up to date data. The Africa Infrastructure Country Diagnostic (AICD) was an unprecedented knowledge program on Africa’s infrastructure that grew out of the pledge by the G8 Summit of 2005 at Gleneagles to substantially increase ODA assistance to Africa, particularly to the infrastructure sector, and the subsequent formation of the Infrastructure Consortium for Africa (ICA). The AICD study was founded on the recognition that sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) suffers from a very weak infrastructural base, and that this is a key factor in the SSA region failing to realize its full potential for economic growth, international trade, and poverty reduction. The study broke new ground, with primary data collection efforts covering network service infrastructures (ICT, power, water & sanitation, road transport, rail transport, sea transport, and air transport) from 2001 to 2006 in 24 selected African countries AICD has been implemented by the World Bank on behalf of a steering committee representing the African Union, the New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD), Africa’s regional economic communities, the African Development Bank, and major infrastructure donors.

Sydney Light Rail Stop GuidesSource

The Sydney light rail network is a light rail system serving the Australian city of Sydney. The network currently consists of three passenger routes, the L1 Dulwich Hill, L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford lines. This dataset provides WCAG 2.0 compliant wayfinding maps for 42 Sydney light rail stops. Each map displays the local area map and the stop map providing information such as transport connections, customer assistance and tickets. **Current Sydney light rail network** ![sydney light rail network map](https://opendata.transport.nsw.gov.au/sites/default/files/styles/panopoly_image_original/public/Sydney%20light%20rail%20network.PNG?itok=tILH7JlX)

USGS Groundwater Watch: Real-Time Groundwater Level Network

From the site: "The Real Time Groundwater Level Network contains water levels and well information from wells with "real time" data transmission instrumentation. This network includes all of these wells, regardless of the aquifer monitored or the monitoring objective. Real-time data typically are recorded at 15-60 minute intervals, stored onsite, and then transmitted to USGS offices every 1 to 4 hours, depending on the data relay technique used. Recording and transmission times may be more frequent during critical events. Data from real-time sites are relayed to USGS offices via satellite, telephone, and/or radio and are available for viewing within minutes of arrival. All real-time data are provisional and subject to revision."

USGS Water Resources: National Stream Quality Accounting Network and National Monitoring Network Basin Boundary Geospatial Dataset, 2008-13

From the site: "This dataset and the accompanying Data Series report was created to assist in analysis and interpretation of water-quality data provided by the U.S. Geological Survey, National Stream Quality Accounting Network (NASQAN) and the National Monitoring Network (NMN). The report describes the methods used to develop the geospatial data which was primarily derived from the National Watershed Boundary Dataset (WBD12). The geospatial data contains polygon shapefiles of basin boundaries for 33 NASQAN and 5 NMN stations. In addition, 30 polygon shapefiles of the closed and noncontributing basins contained within the NASQAN or NMN boundaries where applicable are included. Also included is a point shapefile of the NASQAN and NMN gaging stations and associated basin and station attributes. The basin boundaries included in this dataset are for those sites implemented under the October 2007 design for the 5-years from 2008-2013 (http://water.usgs.gov/nasqan/)."

Vietnam - Electricity Transmission NetworkSource

Data collected and prepared for a project of the World Bank Group in January 2005. Includes transmission lines, substations, as well as power stations. Includes existing as well as planned projects. This data is based on a digitized PDF map, and so is intended as a schematic of rough locations of the power network. It is not suitable for applications requiring high accuracy.
