Current Energy Harnessing using Synergistic Kinematics of Schools of Fish-Shaped Bodies: Marine Hydrodynamics Laboratory Tank Testing DataSource

The objectives of the proposed work pertain to building a high power-density and high efficiency device to harness MHK energy by mimicking fish-school kinematics. Vortex Hydro Energy is collaborating with a concept formed and undergone preliminary testing at the University of Michigan to complete this task. This submission contains data from the Marine Hydrodynamics Laboratory tank testing for 1, 2, and 3 cylinders. Tests were run in a 10,000 gallon recirculating tank. Cylinders have a diameter of 0.0889 m and 0.895m long. See "Read Me" for file format explanation and additional details.

Farm to School Census

The Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010 (HHFKA) formally established a Farm to School Program within USDA to improve access to local foods in schools. In order to establish realistic goals with regard to increasing the availability of local foods in schools, in 2013, USDA conducted the first nationwide Farm to School Census (the Census). In 2015, USDA conducted a second Farm to School Census to measure progress towards reaching this goal.

NSW Speed CamerasSource

Speed cameras are speed enforcement tools that encourage drivers to slow down and help to reduce the road toll. All speed cameras in NSW are signposted. This dataset includes location points of Fixed Speed Cameras which are used at high-risk locations or in areas with a history of severe crashes and Red Light Speed Cameras which are installed to reduce crashes at high-risk intersections with traffic lights. Mobile Speed Camera locations (street and suburb) are also provided. This dataset also identifies which speed camera location points are in school zones across NSW. Speed camera locations are also available on the Centre for Road Safety website: [https://roadsafety.transport.nsw.gov.au/speeding/speedcameras/current-lo...](https://roadsafety.transport.nsw.gov.au/speeding/speedcameras/current-locations.html)

National School Lunch Program: State Implementation Progress, School Year 2012–2013: Report to Congress

This report responds to the requirement of Public Law 110-246 to assess the effectiveness of State and local efforts to directly certify children for free school meals. Direct certification is a process conducted by the States and by local educational agencies (LEAs) to certify eligible children for free meals without the need for household applications. States and LEAs directly certified 12.3 million children at the start of SY 2012-2013, an increase of 740,000, or 6 percent, from the previous school year. Over the same period, the population of school-age SNAP participant children increased by just 1.5 percent. As a result, the share of SNAP participant children certified for free school meals without application increased to 89 percent in SY 2012-2013, up from 86 percent in SY 2011-2012.

School Zone TimetablesSource

School zones help protect children on their way to and from schools at the times and places where they are often in high numbers. The 40km/h school zones are in force on all days which are not a weekend, a public holiday or a publicly notified school holiday for government schools. The lower speed limit reduces the risk and potential severity of a crash. These are school zone timetables, and school zones operate according to the official school terms, even if the associated school does not.
