MCS (originally the UK government-run Microgeneration Certification Scheme) is a UK company, wholly owned by MCS Charitable Foundation, that defines, maintains and improves quality by certifying low-carbon energy technologies and contractors – including heat pumps, solar, biomass, wind and battery storage.
